Adam Zimmer died on October 31, 2022, but the cause of his death has just been cleared out on Friday, December 16. 

Zimmer was a professional football coach in NFL and started his career in 2006. During his death, he was coached for Cincinnati Bengals.

In 2013, he joined Cincinnati Bengals with his Father, Mike Zimmer. But after being an assistant coach, he joined Minnesota Vikings as head coach.

Zimmer followed in his Father footsteps and became a well-known coach, but unfortunately, we lost him at the age of 32.

Adam Zimmer Died Suddenly Through Alcoholism

Zimmer was found dead at his home in the Twin Cities on October 31, 2022; at the time, the reason behind his death was unclear.

On Friday, December 16, Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office released that chronic ethanol use disorder complications were the official cause of his death.

Chronic ethanol use disorder can be caused due to heavy drinking or because of completely stopping drinking.

As per CDC, almost 140,00 people die every year in the United States because of excessive use of alcohol. 

So, imagine how many people are dying worldwide; this is not a good sign. Every one of us should be careful about excessive amounts. 

Before the news from the Medical examiner’s office was released, many people claimed it was a natural death.

Injury And Bruising Before Death of Bengales’ Coach

When he was found dead at his House on October 31, he had bruises or blood pooling around his eye.

As per the report, he was found in a coach with bruises around his eyes, which was not a good sign.

When Police found out about the death and injury in his eye, they did not know what would have possibly caused that.

But when the main reason for his death, the injury around his eyes gets clear. It was because of an excessive amount of alcohol that affected his eyesight.

Zimmer was a well-known coach, and he was making his career a success. His Father, Mike Zimmer, was his biggest supporter.

Zimmer shared a great relationship with his Father, who shared the same interests. His mother died suddenly at the age of 50 in 2009. The reason behind her death was not cleared out.

He also had a sibling; he was raised with his sister Corri Zimmer. The duo often seems to be together with their Father.

Many pictures of them were seen together after Corri shared the news about his brother not being in this world.

Zimmer often inspired her and said he was proud of his sister for being a mother. The coach was a very supportive and caring person in Corri’s life.

She shared a post on Instagram saying, ‘I lost my big brother yesterday,’ ‘The kindest, sweetest, family loving, sports-obsessed soul there ever was. I’ve felt pain like this once before, but it’s been a while, and I didn’t know I could feel like this again.
