Roxy Jacenko is trying to sell her Vaucluse mansion for $14 million and it has sent the rumour mill into overdrive.
Jacenko, who has become synonymous with Sydney’s eastern suburbs, left people shocked when she announced plans to sell her five-bedroom home that she initially secured thanks to her PR empire.
Sydney is famous for many things – the harbour bridge, Chargrill Charlies and Jacenko’s famous feud with the poo jogger that kept popping a squat outside her PR firm Sweaty Betty in Paddington.
So are we losing Jacenko and her little black book forever?
“Sydney is home without a doubt, but I wouldn’t say no to the opportunity of living abroad. It would be an incredible opportunity for the kids to expand their horizons. No decisions have been made on our next buy,” Jacenko told news.com.au.
Jacenko is in a new phase in her life.
Her 11-year-old millionaire daughter Pixie has semi-retired, and her husband, business man Oliver Curtis has been travelling for work. Plus, she was just reported to have splashed out $50,000 to celebrate her youngest son Hunter’s 9th birthday.
“With Oli living between Singapore and Tasmania for work, having such an expansive home for three people is unnecessary. Considering our lifestyle now it’s time to be in an apartment,” she explained.
Curtis and Jacenko have been together for over a decade, and break-up rumours constantly plague the couple who share a mini mogul daughter Pixie and their son Hunter. The selling of their family home has only stoked the gossip flames.
“It a narrative which has lurked around for about five years and we are both so used to it. People are intrigued, which creates gossip – everyone wants to see something fail, but we are all good!” she revealed.
For Jacenko it was simply a lifestyle decision.
“We just aren’t getting the use out of all the incredible facilities it has – a pool, cinema, cellar, glam room, full gym with Technogym equipment and an infra-red sauna,” she explained.
Jacenko’s lifestyle is really changing, I mean, she has even gone brunette and she also confirmed that at the end of May 2023, Pixie’s Bows will be closing after over a decade in business.
Pixie’s Bows, an accessory line of bows for children, was a roaring success and everyone from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North West to Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri Cruise has been spotted wearing the pint-size bows.
Local celebrities like Rebecca Judd and Fifi Box have also been a fan of the bows for their children. So does this mean Jacenko’s finally winding things back?
It has been a year of Jacenko announcing a slowdown. She famously closed the PR arm of her business in November 2022 and announced her daughter Pixie’s semi-retirement so the Mercedes Benz owner could prepare for high school.
“I have quite literally got to the point where I thought, why am I doing this? I want to see our children grow up and spend time enjoying what I have worked so hard for,” she said. “I don’t want to look back and think I have missed so many life moments in the quest for success.
“I feel like I got to a point in my field where I had made my mark, and I am proud of what I did in terms of changing what was a stagnant way of communicating.”

So how does the mini mogul Pixie feel all about this?
“She is so go with the flow, unlike me, she just says you do you!” Jacenko said. “She’s had my back through some seriously challenging moments like cancer, so is happy with whatever, so everyone is happy.”
Kids are so resilient, but no one is more resilient than Jacenko.
